Eurasian Otorhinolaryngology and Audiology
2025 Volume 15 Number 3

Dear readers, authors, and friends of the journal!
With great joy and a sense of professional pride I present to you the new issue of our
journal, the 60th overall, and the third to be published in 2025. It is a great honor for
us to continue this journey with you, witnessing and actively participating in transformations
in otorhinolaryngology and audiology. And today, we are doing so under a new title:
"Eurasian Otorhinolaryngology and Audiology".
This change is not a mere formality, but a logical interim result of our collaborative work
and a reflection of the journal's true essence. What began as an Eastern European project,
thanks to your invaluable work and depth of research, has grown into an internationally
recognized journal, included in the Scopus database. The addition of "Eastern Europe"
no longer reflects the true scale and geography of our community: today, the journal
publishes scientific articles by leading specialists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan,
Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Belarus, and Russia, who defi ne the face of modern
medicine in the region.
Furthermore, the rapid development of audiology and its growing role in our practice
necessitated embedding this focus in the journal's title. Now, the journal will more fully
cover interdisciplinary approaches and serve as an open forum for all specialists whose
work involves diseases of the ear, nose, throat, and hearing impairments.
Of particular importance is our collaboration within the Eurasian Assembly of Otolaryn-
gologists, of which we are the official publication, and our growing partnership with
specialists from the BRICS countries. Together, we not only create national guidelines
and protocols but also shape the future of the specialty, erasing the boundaries between
disciplines and regions.
In this issue, you will fi nd the works of colleagues from various countries who are true
thought leaders. I am confident that their articles will provide you with new ideas, clinical
solutions, and inspiration for further research.
We thank you for your trust, rigorous peer review, and willingness to share your knowledge.
It is you who have made this step forward possible. Let our updated name become a symbol
of our growing community and a bridge between experience and innovation.
